Born and raised in Seattle, Kevin was heavily involved in music before transitioning into becoming a mortgage loan officer at Barrett Financial Group.  Up until his 30th birthday he played Vibes in jazz bands most notably as a sideman with Smooth Jazz artist, Deems Tsutakawa.   He also played keyboards in various folk, rock, and lounge groups.  He worked for his father for 23 years as a hard money lender, real estate investor, and property manager.  He then became a residential mortgage lender and for the past 14 years has worked at two banks as well as two mortgage companies.  Kevin married a professional flutist in 1999 and now have two children in college, one at the UW and the other at St. Olaf in Minnesota.  For fun, Kevin currently plays keyboards in Rock-A-OK, a live Karaoke band.  He works out regularly in the gym, is an avid cyclist, and loves to go wine tasting with his wine group, and occasionally visits the thriving wetland he built in Pierce County.
